I only sent through an expression of interest Monday and am also really hoping I haven't missed out.
No word on my inquiry either, but I'm not expecting anything in the immediate future as I'm guessing the site leaked out a bit earlier than planned.
I think you're pretty safe being one of the first 200 to inquire. Aside from this post here and a few select vendors/artists that Daniel met with, I don't think this website or the print has really been advertised yet.

Yeah, that should be out in about a month. I had to switch to another silk screen printer recently (one that Mondo uses), so that delayed it a bit...They're running a test for me at the moment. Once it is confirmed, they said turn around time should be between three to six weeks, but closer to three. Thus, I'd say sometime in May.
Best,
Daniel

Any chance of getting a bit of info on the projected release date for the Exclusive 35th anniversary Silkscreen Print from Dogu?

Can we please get this image silk screened onto black velvet?
This has been a dream of mine for many years.
Best wishes to all.

I have wanted to do an Usagi on black velvet painting for years, though the image I had in mind was Usagi as Elvis.

I can just envision an entire series of black velvet paintings featuring Usagi and cast in various settings and styles (big eyes, playing pool, playing poker, as a matador...)
Sorry it's taken a while to update the new website and the status on this print. I had some concerns with the initial printer's expertise, so I had to switch over to a more reliable company. This company is reputable in the industry and after a few weeks of back and forth (I have a particular paper I wanted for a specific reason), our order has been placed (earlier this week)! Since it's a relatively simple job, I don't think it'll be too long. I was told 3-6 weeks was the average timespan, but they already had screens setup prior to me putting forth the down payment.
Given the small number of prints, I'd imagine it should be completed fairly soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing how these turn out and I do believe they will be well worth the wait!
