"All the girls from the French Dojo"? Erghm... does it mean... both of them?
We will see, at first i was thinking of a restaurant with Stan for friday, now for saturdayu i am not sure that all ladies will come...

Cosmo wrote:Sure, but I'll have to take the photographs before I see double and my hands become shaky. What a shame Robweiller doesn't come, in France we have an expression : "to be drunk like a Pole" (sorry, Rob... )

No offence taken. We know that expression here and we're kind of proud of it. And I'm a proud son of my nation, if you know what I mean... People say I'm cute when I'm drunk.

But let's see... 10/28? Plenty of time to book a ticket and torment Fanfan to host me. Maybe I'll drop in, although I have lots of expenses this month, so I'm not promising anything :?
My appartment is still in yard... and i have no household electrical, i don't know if i will have finished all the works before Sensei come. I am still not living inside. So i cannot promise anything...

Oh don't worry Fanfan, I was just jokingly teasing with you.

It will be good to see Hermann again, as well as Mauricet (Momo).

Unfortunately, I don't see Michetz on that list.

There is more info concerning the Het B-Gevaar at:

(Unfortunately, the page is in Dutch)

Still no sign of Michetz being there.

I'll be on my way to Belgium very early Thursday morning, so may be off the boards for awhile.

I'll see you in Paris, Fanfan.

Don't worry about not seeing any photos, I've just cleared the 2 GB SD card of my digital camera; I think the best way to let you all participate is to send them to Todd, isn't it?
Greetings from overseas

Anyway, you lucky guys make sure to have fun. :D

You can send them to Todd, me, or post them yourself by using an on-line service such as http://www.imageshack.us/, which is where I have been uploading images to in order to post to this forums, as well as a couple others.

I'm in Belgium right now, trying to figure out this European keyboard. It' back to the old hunt & peck method.

I arrived safely; and will do my first signing this evening.

I just have a few minutes on this computer, so don't have time to look though all the postings since I've been gone.

I went to Ghent. I actually enjoyed it better than Brugge.

I was lost in downtown Brussels today. That will teach me to wander around a strange city with no map. Finally had my mussels. You might remember the last time I was here was at the end of April, the last month with an "R", and so the end of the mussel season.

Signings went extreme well. A bit too well, actually. Fingers are a bit cramped.
Cheers.

Yes ! I finally met Stan Sakai in the Arkham bookstore, 7 rue de Broca in Paris (5th arrondissement). 'hope I won't forget this address next time.

I wandered in Paris for four hours in search of this bookstore, I'm aching all over and my feet are full of blisters, I nearly died by exhaustion and dehydration, but still I'm glad.

I had a lot of fun with my good pal Thomas. While we walked around the Panthéon and Saint-Médard, we had a great discussion about crabs, rats, TV shows, premonition, the quality of the Seine's water, Tutankhamon and the carcinogenic effects of cadavers' dust. We didn't talk much about Usagi Yojimbo, I must admit. :D

Not only Mr. Sakai is incredibly talented, but he's also a true gentleman. I was very pleased to meet him, and he certainly was very pleased to meet me too.
