Very, very excited about this.
Even if the breath between us smells of alcohol,

I see this is planned to be available at SDCC (https://stansakai.com/schedule/). When I talked to Daniel last week, he said the printer was having issues sourcing the paper they wanted to use, so hopefully this means that got resolved.

How does this work for those who emailed an expression of interest? I'm a little confused.

Re: Exclusive 35th anniversary Silkscreen Print
I heard back from Ruth and told her about our concerns with them going up for sale at SDCC (and not wanting them to sell out at the show). While I didn't get any pricing or shipping time info, she did say that if you submitted the pre-order form, then prints have been set aside for you, so we don't need to worry about them selling out at SDCC. The pre-order form will likely close within the next couple days, so if you haven't submitted an interest yet, you're almost out of time.

I submitted an expression of interest via the link on the first page of this thread when I first read about it, but never received an email back.
Did you guys? How do I know if I am one of those who will have one set aside? I really don't want to miss out on this one.
Oh... and what is meant by "spot colouring" on the B&W version?

I've never received a confirmation email, and I submitted the pre-order fairly early on. I'm hoping that my name is among those in reserve.Otter wrote:I submitted an expression of interest via the link on the first page of this thread when I first read about it, but never received an email back.

I also never got a confirmation email. I'm an optimist, so I assume that if you submitted it, your are on the list.
I guessing (no insider information at all) the spot coloring is Stan or Emi adding some water color to the print by hand. I assume that will be the pricier option because it makes it "one of a kind." Depending on the price, it's most likely the one I will go for, if and when they are offered.
Peace, maka

Re: Exclusive 35th anniversary Silkscreen Print
If you check out the original link (http://dogu.co) it now says:
150 LIMITED
Oversized (18×24) 7-Color Silkscreen Print
50
Oversized (18×24) B/W Silkscreen Print
A custom spot color will be added by Stan Sakai for these prints
So the B/W looks very limited. Stan will be the one adding the spot color.

I also emailed Dogu to let them know about the concerns about whether or not people are actually on the pre-order list, as nobody that I'm aware of ever received a confirmation. A lot of us think we're on the pre-order list, but most don't know for certain if we are.

Re: Exclusive 35th anniversary Silkscreen Print
Stan reported on a different thread (What to bring to SDCC?) that they are on special paper he requested. Is velvet considered a special paper?go wrote:Dear Readers,
