Hey Todd,

Great pictures! Thanks for taking pictures of the statues. I was curious how Maria was going to display them. I was going to attend on Friday and then an emergency came up at work. I will attend during SDCC weekend. It seems like you and your son had a great time!

Best photo tour of the exhibit that I've seen yet. Almost felt like I was there myself! And I really loved the photo of Tom Luth's sketch, he did not actually get to the museum until this past week.

I happened to see Tom at the train station right after he left the museum. I was seeing my son off. He went backpacking in Philmont, New Mexico with guys from his old Boy Scout troop.

Chris Houghton, who draws Reed Gunther, also did a drawing for the wall.

Great photos, Maichan.

I'd highly recommend that if anyone is in the LA area between now & October, that they go visit this exhibit. It is a definate must see for any UY or Stan Sakai fan. There is also a short video presentation which is a pleasure to watch (maybe it's been out there elsewhere, but this was my first time seeing it & it was entertaining and enlightening).

The only thing I wish is that there would have been a program guide to go along with the exhibit - I'd have gladly purchased one.
I did however buy a t-shirt and Hachimaki (head-band), and grabbed a couple of Museum Calendar guides which feature UY on the cover, and a few of the UY exhibit flyers.

That is an events calendar, that shows upcoming shows at the museum and special dates such as Target Free Days.

Steve, sorry I should have made it more clear. As Stan pointed out it is only an events calendar for the museum. Stan's artwork is only on the cover. Still, a neat bit of memorabilia nonetheless.

No apologies neccesary, maichan, I actually did understand your initial description concerning the museum event calendar. I just think it looks cool sporting Usagi on the front cover like that. :D

I just wish I had known about it back when the Usagi exhibition began, I would have requested one along with my t-shirt and headband purchases.
