RRappap767 wrote:Thanks for the reply Stan, Actually I was looking foward to purchasing some Usagi original covers like the ones you brought to Anthrocon in Philly. Also, if its possible a more detailed personalized sketch that I would be willing to pay for. One last thing I will be coming on Saturday, do you know a good time to catch you at the table. Thanks.
In that case, I'll bring a few covers along.

If you want a personalized sketch, I suggest you contact me via e-mail to let me know what you want. I don't know if I'll have the time to do something elaborate at the con.

I will have Saturday presentation at 11:00 and 1:00.

Sunday, at 11:00 and noon.

I'm not sure what I will be talking about, so, hopefully, people will have lots of questions.

re: con's

hi stan, i posted a note about angouleme in the general discussion under 'thanks stan for angouleme'.

Supanova runs two big cons in australia each year, one in brisbane and one in sydney. Melbourne has no con but has a few huge comic shops. Those who are keen to see stan at a supanova, email me and i will pass on a number of requests to the guy who runs it. Sound cool?

I'm off to I-Con in New York in an hour, traveling with two astro physicists.

My schedule:
Saturday
11:00 drawing an anthropomorphic world
old engineering room 143
1:00 how Usagi came to be
old engineering room 145

Sunday
11:00 drawing and lettering comics
old engineering room 143
12:00 historical accuracy and mythology in UY
old engineering room 145

There is also a Q&A on Friday night (I think)

I'm bringing work with me, so these would be the best times to catch me.

The schedule is a lot heavier than what I am used to, so I'll be relying on a lot more questions.

Stan Sensai,

Are you coming toward the Great Lakes area anytime in the near future? Keira and I can't wait to visit you again!

Not in the near future.

I am considering an invitation in Calgary, Canada right now. It depends on timing and, of course, deadlines.

I guess we'll have to try to be there the next time you go to New York, then. Calgary's a bit far for us :(

Down under?

Kia ora,

We've gotta get you to come down to our neck of the woods; so to speak, in New Zealand. Twice a year there's a convention held in two of our majoy cities, and they cover everything there is to know about everything there is to know!!

Just feeling alittle envious of reading how many of the members heres have seen/met you at the local cons, and it would be great to meet you in person. Oh well its good to dream, take care and enjoy life.

Ka Kite

Stan, I was ecstatic to discover that you'll be appearing at MegaCon in Orlando this February. I've been hoping you'd make an East (or SouthEast!) appearance for years and years. Looking forward to it!

Please let us know what your schedule will be like, and the maximum amount of items a polite person should ask you to sign. ;)

I don't know what my daily schedule will be. I am coming in to Florida Thursday night and returning to LA Sunday evening, so will be there throughout the con.

I'll pretty much sign whatever you bring. If there is a line though, I may sign a few things and ask that you return later or go back to the end of the line.

Mr. Sakai,

I also will be attending Megacon. I would love to take this opportunity to get a nice sketch from you with multiple (possibly three or four) characters. I'm not sure how you do your pricing (by size, characters etc..), but I'm sure it won't be a problem.

What would be the protocol with this? Should I email you in advance, or just catch you at the beginning of the day at the con?

Thanks in advance for any help you could give.
