My French publisher Paquet has invited me to the Angouleme comics festival. It takes place January 27-30, 2005 in the city of Angouleme. I did a travel report of the last time I was there. It was printed in Autobiographix. (Incidentally, there is a review of the book in the newest Comics Journal.)

Okay, going to Europe three times in four months is a bit too much, but I really enjoy traveling and I'll take any excuse to return to Paris.

I've got an examination session in January, but if I pass all the exams I'll try to go.

You too, Sebastian? My university must be the only one in Spain that has finals in January (all others have them in February).

My sister and I were discussing the possibility of going to Angoulême this year (if I don't have any exams left by the time the con starts). Meeting Sakai-sensei twice in less than 3 months would be awesome!

Thank you. It's the end of my first semester, so I have to pass them all or I'm out.

Stuart says there's going to be a Clare Wendling artwork exhibit at Angouleme.

There's also a Moebius and Miyazaki exhibit opening in France starting in December and ending in March. I heard about it from Pixar's Ronnie del Carmen. This is the site, but it requires a plug-in which I haven't got.
