I am in Switzerland right now, just returning from the Angouleme Festival in France. I had arrived in Europe last Tuesday, and my suitcase arrive on Thursday.

Will post more when I have more time.

I got back a few hours ago. I'm still on Swiss time, that's why I'm posting at three in the morning.

Angouleme was a lot of work, but a lot of fun also. As I said, my suitcase finally arrived on Thursday. The lock was broken, but the only thing missing were all my socks. My computer cables, clothes, art, etc were all fine. Just missing socks. If anything were to be gone, I'm glad it was the socks. They're easily replaced. I bought a bunch at the department store across the street from the publishers' pavilion. I just wasn't sure what size I wore. Size 38-42 sounded big enough, but I might have been more comfortable in the next size up.

I'll send a travel report of my visit to France and Switzerland once I've written it up.

Perhaps the dept. store across from the hotel needed the extra business-- some sort of sock-scam.

Little Gens?
Cool!
I want a dozen, but they are way too big for me...

I always thought that anyone who wanted to follow in Stan's footsteps would have some big shoes to fill, but I never expected them to be THAT big! (They're bigger than my jeans :D )

And no snide comments about what they say about big feet!!!

Yes-- the socks *are* a tad big for regular use, but I see them as useful for storing things; Oh, yeah, and hanging up at Christmas...

Man, I think the computer had the hiccups last night... or maybe a bad stuttering spell!
