The Mother of Mountains

The next long story arc begins with UY 83, and is titled "The Treasure of the Mother of Mountains." It started out as a 4 issue story, grew to 6 issues, and now weighs in at 7 issues, enough for an entire trade book.
It revolves around Tomoe, rather than Usagi however. (Todd will like that.) If you thought Jei was evil, wait until you meet Tomoe's cousin Noriko, who is in service to Lord Sanada of the neighboring province. It also reveals the circumstances of the death of Tomoe's father. This story reintroduces Motokazu, General Ikeda's son--remember, Ikeda asked that his son be taken into Lord Noriyuki's service at the end of Grasscutter. It also builds upon the relationships established in the UY 81 story "Into the Mist."
I could go into an issue-by-issue synopsis, but I don't want to spoil any of the fun.
