Paris: oui; Lausanne: non

Post by Stan Sakai »

Editions Paquet, my French publisher, invited me to the Japan/manga Festival in Paris held July 6-8. Paris is one of my favorite cities, so of course I accepted. I will fly in on July 4, so I can spend a couple of days touristing.

But I am cutting back on my traveling, so I will have to cancel my September trip to the book festival in Lausanne, Switzerland. Even worse, I had to decline an invitation to Brazil. I hope they ask me next year.

I received an email from Marine (Paquet) yesterday, i didn't believe with all your trips that you will come at last minute !
But you still surprise me !!

I will make the announcement on the french website.

Paquet will be printing and giving away Usagi postcards at the Expo.

I should be able to bring some back for those going to Comic Con.

today is the first day of the japan expo.

i have to get used to these european keyboards again. the swiss ones are even different than the french ones, but easier for me to operate.
