I will be returning to Poland in April, before going on to Sweden. I will certainly be doing a signing in Warsaw. There will probably be a signing in another city as well.

I was there about 4 years ago, and did signings in 6 cities. The people there are wonderful, and I look forward to going back.

Sensei, do you think you've got time to take a trip to Berlin (either between Poland and Sweden, before or afterwards)?
I could try to beat the drum here and convince my favorite comic shop into inviting you for a signing here as well...

I know, your schedule for that time is pretty tight, but then again, asking does not hurt....

I won't be able to make it this time.

I would like to visit Berlin, and all of Germany, one day. Perhaps with a side trip to Prague in the Czech Republic.

Oh, well...

But thank you for your quick answer, anyway.

Dear Sensei,
do you have any schedule for Poland already? A friend of mine is thinking about going to Poland for that ocassion...

Well, and I'm thinking about going there, too, if my schedule allows...

Szczecin, to name a town at random, is just a two-hour-drive away from Berlin.

I will only have time to for signings in two cities. I will go to Warsaw for sure. The other city I would like to go to is Krakow. It is a beautiful city. I was there three or four years ago.

Yes, I will be doing a signing somewhere in Warsaw on April 21, and in Krakow on April 22. I will post details as I learn them.

Mother of Mountains was just published in Poland.

If not Krakow, I would have gone to Szcecin. I heard it is a beautiful city. From there I would have taken the prom ship to Stockholm. Perhaps I will visit Szcecin the next time I am in Poland.

Egmont Poland will let me know my schedule around mid-March. When I find out, I will post it here.

I will gladly sign your books. The store may place a limit on the number of books I sign if there is a line of people, though.

Im visitin egmont site really often and i saw news...

http://egmont.pl/pl/komiksy/wydarzenia/art30.html

21-23 kwietnia br. będziemy mieli przyjemność gościć w Polsce STANA SAKAI - amerykanina japońskiego pochodzenia, twórcę słynnego komiksu Usagi Yojimbo, laureata nagrody Eisnera!

Sakai miałby odwiedzić m.in. takie miasta jak Warszawa i Kraków.

Szczegóły jego wizytyty będą znane w drugiej połowie marca.
it says nothing new.

it says

"This year 21-23 april we will be pleasured to greet Stan Sakai american born in japan, maker of famous comic "Usagi Yojimbo", laureate of Eisner award in Poland

Sakai will visit city like Warsaw and Cracov.

Full information will be posted in latter half of march"

"m.in." means among others so there will be more then 2 cities?

-----

is there any chance that there will be some hardcover usagi books to buy??? (ther is no hc in poland)

As it says, information will be posted the latter half of March, in a couple of weeks.

I may also go to Katowice.

The only UY hardcover books are the US (English language) ones and the Croatian editions. I can bring one of the Dark Horse US editions if you like. I don't know what the current exchange rate is with the US dollars and your PLN, but the dollar is very weak right now.
