I have been invited to be a guest at WonderCon in San Francisco, Feb 27-March 1, 2009.

I will also have an exhibition of 40-60 pieces at the San Francisco Cartoon Museum from February to May. A few people have asked about purchasing upcoming covers, and I have had to turn you down. This exhibit is the reason. I do not have any old original covers to display.

I guess this means no Megacon for the 25th anniversary. :( Will you be anywhere on the east coast next year?

As I told you, if I find someone to travel with me, i would enjoy to take my holidays in San Francisco and to meet you at WonderCon. SDCC looks too crowded for me (well for the moment at least). I will let you know, i should know soon since we know when it will occur exactly. The guy that saved my life wanted to expatriate to SF, so he is interesting to go there with me.

If i am able to come, i will make a video of the expo (if it is allowed) to share with other Dojo Members.

I really hope we will meet for the 25th anniversary !!

It would be so great to meet you Go !

And it would be great to hear Stan's conference in the Cartoon Museum if it would occur.

There may be a reception at the Museum, but I will be doing a guest spotlight at WonderCon as well as a signing. I hope to also get a table in the Dealers' Room.

Since Wondercon is put on by the same people as SDCC, I'm expecting they will invite you as a GoH there too...they better...

We can only hope. However, I was a guest there 5 years ago for Usagi's 20th anniversary.

Stan,

I'll see you there. If you have time I''l give you a tour of my studio. I've been promising Sergio a tour of the Ranch as well. Maybe we can squeeze that in.

As the crow flies, about 500 miles... they are at opposite ends of California.

I may end up going to WonderCon myself next year in celebration of Usagi's 25th. Never been, but I really like San Francisco and have lots of family up there. Might be a good opportunity for a UYD Event. We'll see what happens...

You will be sorely missed at MegaCon. :(
