I just sent in UY 129, and, as usual, will spend the next week doing other projects--mostly non-Usagi, and mostly unpaid.

Sergio and I are doing the Motor City Comic-con T-shirt design, and I've got another T-shirt to do. Also a cover for Antheria Con program book, a 2-page Usagi story, a 1-page non-Usagi story, and a drawing for another charity auction.

Sergio laid out the Motor City Con design. It is Groo and Rufferto facing off against Usagi and a tokage. Of course, we each did our own characters. Maybe someday we'll try drawing each other's characters. I think the shirt will be a 5 color print. Though we had lunch together on Friday, we each worked independently. That is, he drew his part and I drew mine on separate sheets of paper, and both parts will be incorporated in photoshop by the printer. I will post the finished art on my Live Journal, once I get it from the con.

Looking forward to seeing the end result of the T-shirt design :D

Where will the two page Usagi story be published out of interest Stan? :)

You are a machine, Stan!

Time for you to run amok! Its elementary chaos theory concerning machines that they will always run amok. Its science, people. Run!

I received an e-mail from Editor Diana. Endpaper and tip-in art for the next UY hardcover are due next week.

At least I'm staying home this month. I've got 3 events scheduled for April.

It is for MySpace Dark Horse Presents. It will first be published electronically, then re-printed in a trade paperback. I don't know the time line for this, aside from the b/w art which is due March 16.

I agree with estee, you are a machine. I don't believe you are human. ;)

Thanks for producing so much art/stories for us to enjoy.

Peace, maka

Endpaper and tip-in art are finished.

The tip-in painting is an Usagi portrait, but very different than other portraits I have done. Curious to see what Diana's reaction will be. You'll love it.

The cover for UY 132 is finished. I'm not sure if the story, Taiko, will be one or two issues long. Much would depend on how much research I uncover. The story centers around how a taiko drum is made.

Monday will be spent thumbnailing a freelance project. Tuesday I start writing Return to Hell, the story for UY 130-131.

Looking forward to all three of these!

Can you give us a hint as to the free-lance project?

It is a one-page, 16 panel story for World of Warcraft magazine. It is kind of like Spy vs Spy, but using trolls and goblins. Someone else is writing it. I have never played WoW, but my kids have.

WoW rough thumbnails are finished. On to writing the story for UY 130-131.

I will be traveling much of April, so I will have to get as much done in March as I can.
