No, that is Agyo, a Buddhist temple guardian. You can often find statues of Agyo and Ungyo placed at temple entrances to ward off evil spirits.

He will probably have nothing to do with the actual story, which I still have not written.

is there anything on whatado for issue #141(hey-that's only a secret identity-name for issue #200)?
has steve's idea of a contest found hearing and support?you know, the idea to collect some ideas from fans for this special occasion?

I have already written and thumbnailed the story for UY 141 (the 200th issue). I wanted the word or number "200" in the title, so it will be 200 Buddhas, though I will probably change it to "200 Jizo". It is about a sculptor that must carve 200 images of Jizo, a Buddhist deity.

Neat idea, and a very subtle, playful way to celebrate UY #200.
