Here is a little known fact about the first Albedo #2 cover: It was initially designed to be silk screened! Don’t believe us? (See BELOW)

The idea was interesting, but something that wasn’t practical at the time. However, we decided to try silk screening again, but this time, for an oversized print (18 x 24). Thus, we’re pleased to announce that we’re going back to the beginning, as Usagi Yojimbo is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year! Many thanks to Stan Sakai for allowing us to create this limited edition print in honor and celebration of Usagi’s continued legacy. (See ABOVE)

My only connection with them is finding a Google link to their page earlier today.

This is Daniel Fujii's new company, I believe. I saw him at WonderCon yesterday and he gave me his new business card for this venture. From what I understand, he just barely set up the website and was at the convention to meet with artists and introduce them to his new company and what they can offer. He asked me to keep quiet, as it's still not quite "launch ready," but it looks like the Google search index had other plans.

Has anyone received a reply email, or will that only happen once they're ready to ship?

I only sent through an expression of interest Monday and am also really hoping I haven't missed out.

I haven't received any type of reply yet.

I'm guessing once they are ready to ship we'll receive a confirmation email.

I've got a few Usagi prints waiting to be framed, but this one would definitely jump the queue if I have been able to respond in time.
