For those of you that don't frequent Facebook...

There was a discussion going on where someone mentioned the DojoBoard being down, so I let them know we're still here.

Daniel Fujii chimed in with this reply:

we're planning a website overhaul which will include fixing the forum access but are waiting for a few things beforehand. Sorry about the delay!

Hey, now that's something to look forward to!

No timeframe was given, but at least now we know something is in the works!

Lawrence is going to try and fix the “forgot email” button that doesn’t email you if your forgot your password. Once he does that, I think we can spread the word that the dojo is back. I haven’t heard of any other problems. If have experience any problems, let me know. Excited to be back! Peace, maka

The problem with the email might not be in the forum, but rather email blacklists or something of the sort. It was a problem for quite a while before the more recent problems, and was not restricted to the "Forgot password" email function. A lot of people would register for the forum but would never receive confirmation links which were supposed to be sent by email. Of course, some people did receive their email confirmation links with no problem.

As far as the "forgot password" email function, I tried it on three different accounts I have registered on the forum but only one email address actually received an email from it.
