It will be reported in the Hollywood Reporter and Variety in a couple of days that Sergio and Mark have sold the motion picture rights to Groo to a company called IPW.
Don't expect the movie out anytime soon, though. Sergio and Mark have just started writing the screen play.

w00t! Will they give away cheese dip with every ticket sold?
Just wondering: will the movie be animated or filmed with real actors? Gérard Depardieu has the right nose to play Groo (and belly too)

It's much too early to discuss anything yet. I don't even know if it will be animated, or live action, or both...wouldn't you like to see Arnold Schwarznegger with CGI-ed matchstick legs?Todd Shogun wrote:Hopefully it will be animated! Woo Hoo! Can UY be far behind??? Als, Stan will you be a part of the Groo movie at all? Perhaps as a voice actor for Scribe?
