New banner(s) for the header

Hey Mods! I have my own phpBB forum (so I know how difficult they can be at times). Anyway, I designed a few banners to use at the top instead of the generic php ones. Let me know if you like them, or even want to use them as I can offer them up to you in much larger quality/sizes.

Hey Steve...

The image has to be uploaded first via your web FTP (whoever your provider is should have given you these links) and into the proper directory. For example, DreamHost (my provider) is shown in the first image here. I've chosen my site "welcometoboneville", then styles, then imageset. I then upload the banners I've made into imagesets.

2nd step is, from the main Usagi Forum Board page, you should be able to login to the Admin Control Panel. (see 2nd screenshot) Now go to Styles, then on the left you should see Templates/Themes/Imagesets. Choose ImageSets and then you can choose the image you just uploaded via FTP that you want to place in the banner.

As far as I know, I do not have the necessary links to upload the image to where ever the web-site is hosted at.

Any chance I could upload it to imageshack and access it from there like my avatar?

If not, maybe Todd or Aaron will have a bit of free time to do something with these. They would make nice headers for the forum.

Hey Steve,

I know that bit gets a little confusing eh. This board is hosted by a provider like DreamHost, GoDaddy, etc. Todd or Aaron probably have access to that info if they officially run this board.

As far as I know, all images and graphics have to be uploaded via FTP... then you access them for display via the ACP. I don't think you can just put a picture on Flickr or PhotoBucket and do it that way.

Yeah, it's gonna just be Aaron that has access to that probably. I can certainly see all the options in the admin control panel though, so I can change that sort of stuff myself, just not do the upload.

A nice Usagi banner would sure be better than the "phpBB creating communities" we have up there now.
