Is there a way to post YouTube videos into a message? I know different forum softwares handle it differently, but I can't figure anything out for our forum...Adding YouTube video?

I don't know either. I wonder if we're on an old version of the forum software (phpBB?) or if the video embed script just hasn't been added to the forum software to allow us to embed video. I tried a bunch of workarounds for embedding a youtube video and couldn't get any of them to function.

One of the things I always liked about the Dojo Annex forum was that you could embed videos....

I think the idea of an upgrade has been tossed around in the past, but if not, has anyone ever considered upgrading (updating? or even outright changing) the forum software? That sort of stuff is mostly beyond my limited understandings, but it might be something for the powers-that-be to consider.
