UY Dojo Message Board access and help?

Dear UYD Admins,

My roommate, Lawrence Chen, is developing a "how to create websites" course for UCSB's extension in the spring quarter. We were just talking about his class and it made me think that maybe he could help with some of the broken parts of this UYD message boards: i.e. Board index page web URL is broken, log in issues, etc. But of course, I don't know any of the information about the programming language used to build this website, I can't give him admin access to the back end to look for problems in the coding, and I don't remember all the issues this site has. Can any of you help give him access so he can look at it and refresh us on big problems with this Dojo site?

Lawrence is an Usagi Fan. When we visited Stan to have him sign the merchandise for the Hero Initiative Charity Giveaway, I brought Lawrence with me to meet Stan. He is solid and trustworthy.

The biggest problem with the Dojo forum is that there is no administrative access at this point.

When the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo web-site was incorporated into Stan Sakai's new web-site and moved to a new domain (?), the forum was also moved and a side effect of that move was the eventual loss of access to the forum's administrative features.

Contacting Daniel is probably your best bet. I think it was Daniel that responded on Facebook a few times, and mentioned that improvements were on the way, but that was some time ago and nothing has happened yet. It really would be nice to get the DojoBoard back to full functioning order, and to have a fellow enthusiast taking care of things would be an added bonus.

I messaged Todd on FB. He mentioned he tried to fix things but couldn’t. I think Todd is pretty busy with life now days but he said he could give my roommate access if I thought he could fix things. I sent him a message back that it was worth a try. I’m just waiting now. Peace, maka
