Looks more like a coffee mug to me
Actually, the idea of a set of Usagi Tea Cups was first envisioned by former DHC VP-Sales Lou Bank, back in the early years of the Dojo. Maybe I just need to talk to someone about doing them....and for that matter, maybe even official Usagi chop sticks? Or a UY sushi set? Or plates, sake cups, sake bottles??

Shouldn't that be "Sakai cups" and "Sakai bottles" ?Todd Shogun wrote:Looks more like a coffee mug to meActually, the idea of a set of Usagi Tea Cups was first envisioned by former DHC VP-Sales Lou Bank, back in the early years of the Dojo. Dark Horse Usagi / Sakai cups.....
Dear Readers,
The Usagi drinking tea cup is wonderful.
Do you think Dark Horse might consider producing one?
Very cool idea to show Usagi in one of his peaceful moments.
Best wishes to all!

I don't think Dark Horse would consider there to be enough of a demand or find it profitable enough to do themselves.go wrote:Dear Readers,

The chances might be better for an independent party to license such an idea and finance the production of a set. Similar in nature to the process of the Dojo t-shirts Todd has been producing, the calendars Tidemark produced, or the s/n prints Paul Lau has been producing.
I am sure that there are virtually hundreds of licensing opportunities which could be concidered for Usagi Yojimbo merchandise, just think of all the things you see Garfield or the TMNT on. But I am not suggesting a mass-market commercial "sell-out" or anything like that, just that there could be some really cool opportunities for the production of some great collectables.
Abayo...

Go, didn't you see what Fanfan wrote on the French Dojo ? You scatterbrain.

So they're not Dark Horse-made. Too bad. I wish I could buy one, me too.Fanfan wrote:Le Mug Usagi : non commercialisé, seul Stan et moi même en possédons. Pour l'instant il n'est (pas) prévu d'en refabriquer [...]
Mug : not for sale, it was a special present to Stan when he came at Angoulême this year, i did made 4 mugs.
