I imagine that some enterprising person out there will post it on eBay, given the chance... some comic book store owner, for example, or someone who isn't a fan. Look how some people were able to get so many of the TMNT movie "posters" that were limited at San Diego Comic Con-- I never saw so many complete sets (and a few by the same person!) on eBay.

15=poster ???
I just talked with my comic shop owner and he said there is no mention of this in Diamonds catalog as an incentive for him to order 15 copies. Anybody have any ideas why this wouldn't show up so store's know about it?
Stan, is it something that just happens automatically and Diamond Distributors isn't aware of what Darkhorse has planned for the 100th issue? I'm still trying to convince my shop owner to order the 15 copies and I will pay his cost since there is no way I will make it to SDCC. Thanks!

I don't know how DH is handling the promotions of the posters.Trevis Woods wrote:I just talked with my comic shop owner and he said there is no mention of this in Diamonds catalog as an incentive for him to order 15 copies. Anybody have any ideas why this wouldn't show up so store's know about it?

All I know is that I am to expect them next week for signing, and I'll have two weeks to freight them back to DH.

Re: 15=poster ???
My LCS owner and I went through the same thing. The offer was JUST made available through Dialmod, so it isn't in Previews or any printed literature they've recieved. Tell him to try the Diamond website.Trevis Woods wrote:I just talked with my comic shop owner and he said there is no mention of this in Diamonds catalog as an incentive for him to order 15 copies. How i found out...
Dear Readers,
I found out about the poster via the power of the YU Dojo.
My fncbs was unaware of the promotion.
The poster is not in the Diamond catalog.
My retailer says Diamond normally has a number for each promo (even the free ones...) but there is no number for this poster.
What kind of promotion is effective if very few people know about it?
Silverlining, this may mean more posters for Sensei Sakai to bring to SDCC.
Best wishes to all!

I think the idea is that Diamond will make a big announcement about it as the release date comes nearer, encouraging shops to increase their orders as the buzz about issue #100 gets bigger.

But Diamond should do it really soon, then; most shops here in Europe must have their orders ready and in the tube up to two month in advance...shaxper wrote:

My shop filled me in that they order at the end of November for the January issues! And the only way they learned about the poster was a sneaky Usagi fan surfing the WWW.....
Ok, I admit it: I told them .... it's no coincidence that I chose Toady as my Avatar!!

Greetings from overseas
