mmm......
Dear Readers,
The ebay seller is a probably a comic book retailer or "book hawk" who will make some fan happy ( ouch on the wallet... ).
I hope someone is not selling the extra posters without our Sensei getting his portion of the profits.
Best wishes to all!
go
ps are they really 24 by 36 inches?

I'd like to caution potential buyers of the poster from eBay gougers... Dark Horse has a huge number of the posters left, and will need to unload them eventually. They are already giving some away through contests. I am certain people will be able to acquire some for much less than this one particular cut throat is asking!

<IN STOCK NOW! This is a special LIMITED EDITION PRINT to comemerate the 100th issue of USAGI YOJIMBO! This piece was issued to retailers who ordered 15+ copies of Usagi #100! The print is the cover to #100 by Stan Sakai and is APPROXIMATELY 24 x 36 (its big).>
Hmm, maybe the seller didn't have a ruler at hand.....the seller forgot to mention the fact, that Dark Horse issued the posters for free.....
<As an extra bonus, there is an ORIGINAL SKETCH by Usagi creator/artist STAN SAKAI!>
Ok, call me picky-picky, but a bonus is always "extra", right??
<You dont see Stan Sakai at many conventions, and when you do, he is usualy swamped with fans! This is a truly awesome piece...>
Three statements, and I believe only two of them are true; the first one should be: "You can see Stan Sakai regularly on two conventions a year at least,...." maybe with a link to the Dojo for further information....
But the seller is not interested in providing any potentional buyer with useful information, he just wants to sell the gift for an OUTRAGEOUS price....
Well, I don't know about you, but I don't like to deal with people with that frame of mind....
I wouldn't buy from Cut-me-own-throat-Dabbler, either...

If Dark Horse has a ton left, do you think they would consider letting Heritage Source or someone sell them at a reaosnable price?
I won't be able to get to any conventions to get one. It seems like such a waste to have all these posters and so many dojo members that want one for the right reasons. I would gladly buy one from a trusted source such as Heritage Source or even TFAW since they are affiliated with Dark Horse.
Heritage Source of TFAW seems like a good option to me. What do you think? Stan or Todd do you think this would be an option at any point and time?

Re: posters
I have no idea. I think that would be up to Dark Horse. Perhaps if they get enough inquiries about the posters from their customers...Trevis Woods wrote:Stan or Todd do you think this would be an option at any point and time?

Would we be able to do an online "petition" here at the dojo for all the members who want one to sign up for and then email the request directly to Dark horse or even just have Stan himself forward the "petition" on behalf of the dojo?
Maybe this is a little much and I could be one of the only ones that really wants it that bad but I would be curious to see how many people would be willing to order one from TFAW or Heritage Source for a reasonable price.
Since I'm so full of wonderful ideas today, maybe when Vol. 21 comes out they could include one with every online order from TFAW or Heritage??? Anybody else have any ideas?

This month we are celebrating the release of Usagi Yojimbo #100!!!!!
The close of sixteenth century Japan is regarded as the Age of Civil Wars, as feudal lords fought amongst themselves for land and power. When one leader finally rose above the others and was proclaimed Shogun, a peace came upon Japan and the samurai warriors found themselves suddenly unemployed. Many of these Ronin turned to banditry to survive, others found work with minor lords. And a small number traveled the musha shugyo -- the warrior pilgrimage -- to hone their spiritual and martial skills. Such is the tale of Usagi.
Usagi #100 is the ultimate introduction to the world of the rabbit ronin and his inimitable creator, a perfect entry point for anyone who ever wondered why the adventures of this long-eared hero have been among the most acclaimed all-ages comics for over two decades!
Register to win in our Usagi Yojimbo contest and you might be receiving one of these really cool prize packages! Good Luck!

Thanks Stan. I tried contacting them yesterday. Also entered both contests in hopes of getting one. And I will be looking for one cheap on eBay.
