I agree! And vintage too! Stan, was the coloring done by you?

Yes, this one is mine. The color choices, techniques, and the brush strokes are mine.

I love this visual walk down memory lane. Both of these pieces remind me of a slightly different Usagi that I hadn't realized I've been missing like an old friend. There's no doubt in my mind that Usagi has evolved into a far more amazing character, both visually and in terms of characterization, but I do miss these old incarnations from time to time.

Congrats Mayhem! I see you won this one - I very nearly bid on it myself. Very nice piece (awful framing tho') I'm surprized it went for such a reasonable price.

well done!

Yeah likewise actually, I was expecting it to go higher... the seller is still offering free normal shipping to the UK on it, but I'm waiting to see what the cost of courier is as well (he's agreed to let me ship it if need be for the cost difference in Fedex to the US and Fedex to the UK).

Once it gets to me... I'm still not sure how and where he will ship it yet!

Well I think we finally sorted it out... should be sent out airmail to me in the next couple of days :)

Now somewhere to put it

(looking at the lithograph he's still to frame, and the other colour pieces on eBay currently he's possibly gunning for... May is gonna be an expensive month!)
