Stan Sakai art - Benefit auction for Clydene Nee

This auction is for one (1) original and signed 11" x 17" pencil and ink artwork drawing by the legendary Stan Sakai. It features his creation, Usagi Yojimbo, vs. the Creature From the Black Lagoon. On the back of the piece there is a pencil sketch of Yojimbo in addition to some handwritten notes from Mr. Sakai. An awesome and one of a kind piece from an all time great!

This and other art pieces I have for sale now are part of a benefit auction for Clydene Nee, who is suffering from kidney failure. The money will go to help support her healthcare and living expenses. Clydene has worked in the comic book industry and is a long time and loved member of the art community.

Shipping will be a flat rate of $15.90 via USPS and will include tracking and insurance. Payment is due within five days of auction's end, by PayPal only.

It's a super nice piece. I can't remember how big it was but it looked almost cover art size. The details on this piece of art is highly finished. And three characters, including a Universal Monster seems highly collectable to me. I think it was originally listed for about $1200 on the previous eBay auction. I hope it goes for a lot so it can help out Clydene more.

I remember seeing this at Stan's booth at a couple shows but don't remember how expensive it was, though I'd suspect it was probably close to the $1200 mentioned by Maka.

The size is 11x17 (from the eBay description) and it's a fantastic piece. It certainly gave me pause when I was looking through Stan's pile o' art. It was way out of my price range then (not too bad right now at $416) and I hope that it sells for way out of my price range.
