I placed an order for a copy of the set from Westfield, but it says there's a 5-10 day wait. I'm assuming they think they can still get it from Diamond which isn't the case. I hope they have a distributor elsewhere or once again I was sold something that wasn't actually IN STOCK. We'll see.
Oh man Garth is the man! I just reread Preacher for the third time last month.

That's funny. GAF is the brand of shingles on the house. Anyway, I'm still waiting to hear back from the insurance adjustor. Other than soggy carpet and walls, I lost 127 books and a Kallax shelf.
1. Westfield Comics canceled my order and has removed the book from their online inventory. I had a funny feeling they weren't going to have it in stock.
2. Fantagraphics has informed me that they plan on reprinting the softcover boxed set and it should be out next spring.
3. Last but not least, someone might be picking up the box set for me later today. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the info on Garth Ennis, but I don't read Preacher. I have heard good things about it so I will probably give it a try at some point.
Good news about the reprinting. I'll wait until spring then.
That will give some rest to my wallet, all my money seems to have magically disappeared over the weekend.
I only took a pic of Stan when he was drawing my commission. I wish I had taken more, but I was so busy and my arms always full of bags that I didn't get a chance.
Anyway, I'm still waiting to hear back from the insurance adjustor. Other than soggy carpet and walls, I lost 127 books and a Kallax shelf.
