Usagi Hardcovers for sale!

I’m looking for four people (or more) that would be interested in joining a buying group for some Usagi Hardcovers. I found a comic shop selling HC volumes 1-23 plus Space Usagi, Yokai and sketchbook #1 for $1,000.00 That is about $40 per book! Crazy good deal! Unfortunately the owner won’t split the set. I see this buying group as the only option to get the ones I need and hopefully help out some other dojo members who need to fill some holes.
I need five of these to complete my collection. (Volumes 1,2,3,6,7)
I will front the money, make the purchase and ship them out to everyone but you have to cover shipping for your portion as well as whatever books you want. I would request PayPal friends and family be used to pay your portion. The only other stipulation is that I get first dibs on the five I need to complete my collection.
If there are extras left over that people don’t need them I will pay for those and just hold onto them for now.
Let me know if you are interested and I will take requests on a first come first serve basis. PM me which volumes you want and hopefully we can all fill those holes in our collection.

I've seen pics of all of them and them appear to be in NM condition. Some looked like they had never been read.
I should have them all in hand by end of week or maybe Monday. The comic shop will hopefully be able to ship them out today.

Oh ok, I saw that auction on eBay. For some reason I thought you were buying them from a local comic shop.

It was a comic shop(not local) and it was that same eBay listing but I had been talking with the shop owner for the last two weeks about splitting them up and discussing price. He told me that he would split them up individually next week if they didn’t sell. That was a big concern for me because I knew there was no way those would last individually and there was zero chance of me getting the five I needed for an average of $40.
That is when I decided to purchase the lot and go for it. I had talked with a couple other dojo members and asked if that was a crazy idea and the basic conclusion was I would have no problem finding people who wanted the duplicates I would now have.
