Speaking of Slab, they put an update up earlier...

IDW have been in contact these are being reprinted this week and shipping by the 28th. After speaking with them we have decided to lower the print run from 600 to 200... due to the length of time it has taken to get this out to you guys....

These will all be numbered with a COA. This will make this one of the lowest printed variants for the series and a must have for collectors. We are keeping it fair and keeping the price the same. But we are around 50% sold out so only just over 100 copies left!!!! Great news if you already have this on order!!!!

I finally gave up on Heroes getting back to me so just placed an online order for all the copies without any additional discount. I should have put in the big order when they first put them up online instead of waiting, even if it had cleaned out their online inventory, as it would have saved $5 per set. Oh well, I guess that's the price for being considerate . I figured buying now was a better option than waiting longer and longer and potentially not being able to get them at all.

So now it's just a wait for those to ship and for Slab City to get their replacement replacements and then I can finally get this wrapped up and the rest of everybody's comics shipped to them.

HeroesCon covers arrived. I knew they had some printing problems and most of the ones I got are reasonably good, but one of each cover (so 2 out of 20) are just garbage, with huge damage marks. The majority have very minor scuff marks near the staples (again, nothing unreasonable), but these two have giant black marks across a big chunk of the sky and along the entire top edge. I've emailed them to see about getting those two replaced, but don't worry, I won't be passing off the two worst ones to anybody in the group order (if they won't replace them, I'll just hang onto those ones as the copies I ordered for myself).

edit: they're sending me replacements for these ones.

Hi Michael,
They will be released as part of the Kickstarter campaign. Hopefully in about a week that will be up and available to everyone. It’s currently in for review by Kickstarter

Slab City has arrived! I work six days this week (I generally work 12-hour days), with today being my only day off, so I won't have time to mail everything out until next week.
