I GOTTA HAVE THAT!!!! I will definitely be bidding on this one for sure. A full color Lord Mifune would be the centerpiece of my collection. WOW

Dear Readers,
Thank you very much for your well wishing and congratulations.
I was amazed to win this auction.
Thank you very much for not outbidding my bid.
Over the last two years I saved more money than I have ever saved in my life ($2,000).
Intending to take my wife on 3 vacations along the California coast including the San Diego Comicon for the first time and purchase art directly from Sensei Sakai, I thought I had this summer all figured out.
Last week my son came to me asking for financial help...
He was short $2000 for his down payment on his new home....
I bid everything in my wallet and imagine my suprise.
This is right up there with finding the Albedo #2 and paying cover for it!
Thanks again for your well wishing and congratulations.
Thanks especially to Sensei Sakai for all of the fun!!!
Best wishes to all.

ps. On the same day my friendly neighborhood comic book store told me the new Usagi did not arrive this week. It was on the invoice but not in the box! What a day of highs and lows.

Nice piece, but I am ultra picky these days. And, I prefer not to bid against folks here if I can help it.

That's a great story. You got the original (and in color) art + you got to help your son afford the down payment on a home (worth much than original art - no offense Mr. Sakai :) )

Things happen for a reason, I guess.

Peace,
