Albedo 2- Slabbed (ie CGC Graded) on eBay

Post by Becky-Chan »

I have to say this is the first time I've seen this comic 'slabbed' and as such the price is VERY steep...almost TOO steep.

For those who don't know, CGC gradeing intales sending the comic to the graders who check it, make note of it's flaws if any and give it a score from 1-10...10 being the highest. The highest ever seen for any book is usually a 9.8 or even a 9.9. Then the comic is put in a hard plastic holder, I believe this holder is air tight and UV resistant to protect the comic. You can break it out of the 'slab' if you want to, it's hard but it can be done.

Looks like it's no longer available? Did someone buy it for the $1300??

Nope, it's stated that the seller ended the auction early. No idea why though. Could be that he got a off eBay offer for the books or he decided not to sell them. I know the Final Listing Fees for such large ticket items can be insane, he might have ended the auction early and plans to re-list the book at a later time for a different price.
