You must be readin my mind. go...

I was just trying to figure out how much longer it might be until the new s/n print was released. I had checked Diamond's shipping list on their web-site this morning for this weeks releases to see if it might be listed.

It took me a while this morning to find the original post here on the dojo from back when it was first listed in Diamond's Preview catalog.

We have to assume that this is a differant print than the lithograph which Dark Horse is planning on distributing at the Comic Con Internation in San Diego. That print has been described as featuring the cover art from the Art of Usagi Yojimbo 20th Anniversary Hardcover.

It would have probably been quicker to find the image that is stored in my imageshack file. :?

It was the July catalog, which lists stuf beginning to ship in September. Unfortunately, prints and posters are the kinds of the things that seem to have a random shipping schedule.

Diamond Comic Distributers (Previews Catalog)
http://www.diamondcomics.com/

Unfortunately, The person / company which is actually producing the print (Paul Lau - spelling?) does not seem to have a web-site. This is the third Usagi print which they have released. You can see an image of the first one on Collin's fan-art page
http://comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.as ... t=0&UCat=0

There is probably a good chance some of the printswill end up on ebay once they are released.

Dear Readers,
# 12 of 250 is on my wall! Woo Hoo!
I ordered it in July from my local friendly comic book store (Collectors Ink). By the way, the print is not 11 x 17.
Sensei Sakai, thank you for the intense art!
Best wishes to all,
go
ps. a Gen toy also arrived in the mail today. A very good Usagi day!

This was second attempt at working with cel vinyl colors. It's an opaque water based paint, used often to paint cels for animation.

My first try was on the signature plate for UY Book 19: Fathers & Sons HC.

#24 of 250 just came home with me, I picked it up on my way in to work. And I also ordered mine back in July from the Diamond Preview catalog and through my very accommodating local comic shop (Fanfare Comics and Cards).

Now that you mention it, it does look a little smaller than I was expecting. A good thing I did not buy a frame in advance.

I second the sentiments, thank you for the great print, and all the other cool collectables that you produce for us fans and collectors.

Now, if we can just get the"first" set of those 4" pvc multi-character figures started.... 8)

Oo! What are those? Anyone got pics?

Unfortunately, they seem to be just a "wish list" type of item of mine, along the lines of the Groo the Wanderer 7-piece set that came outa few years ago and the sets they produced for Eric Powell's over-rated (IMO) Goon comic series.

Stan has created so many cool characters over the years that it would be easy to come up with enough for two or three sets of these, each with a totally differant group of characters.

Oo, I see.
Okay, so say, you had to pick Usagi Characters for, say a Seven Piece-Set, who would be everyone's pick?

Mine would be as follows:
. Usagi
. Jotaro
. Gen
. Tomoe
. Lord Noriyuki
. Spot
. And....... A Neko Ninja?

OK, are you talking about just any Neko Ninja, or a specific one?

Kashira Shingen, former leadr of the Neko Ninja, who sacrificed himself to stop the Dragon Bellow Conpiracy?

Or maybe Kashira Chizu, also former leader of the Neko Ninja, ousted from her post due to her failure in the Grasscutter episode, and possibly because of her feelings for Miyamoto Usagi?

Personnally, I think they both deserve to have their own figurines, but then again, I want about twenty-one of the things

Haha, you've got me there. Well, I'm about to start the "Grasscutter" TPB, so I don't think I've met Kashira Chizu yet.

But yus, I agree. Lots of Usagi Characters could easly be on the list for thier own figures. - Shall we send a Petition to DarkHorse? Hehe.
