Hello UY collectors,
I'm so tempted by this auction to BIN. But I'm going to hold off until I talk to my partner. Maybe one of you will buy it now so I won't.

Me too...arrgh...must resist...need money for...food!
But I'm curious...I hear a lot about blue covers, red covers and such for the very early Albedo issues. Now I loathe second printings, so which cover constitutes the first printings of the Usagi issues of Albedo?

...and I can't believe I just went for it!
What...have...I...done?
Quick! Someone reassure me that this was a good thing to do.

If I remember correctly, both the #0 and #1 in this auction are reprints. The rest are all originals.

But who will save me??
If you have a change of heart again, there's a slightly better copy ending tomorrow:

I'm assuming it'll end up around $500.
Thanks for sharing the link!

Way to take one for the team, Shaxper!
Wew, now the rest of us can relax.
And thanks for the info on the reprints.

If I remember correctly, Steve Gallacci had reprinted #0 a few times, and used a couple of diifferent inks for the covers. I think he gave me a second printing which I put in a drawer somewhere. As for Albedo #1, he printed all the insides, but only had enough money to print about 500 covers. He chose a dark red for these. When he got enough to print the rest of the covers, the printer used a bright red. At that time, it did not make any difference to anyone, least of all to Steve.
Now we come to Albedo #2 and the first appearance of Usagi. Steve had it in his mind to hand silk screen all the covers himself, front and back. I think it would have take 9 or 11 colors and screens. After a few, he concluded that would be an idiotic thing to do, and had them done by a professional printer who did it the traditional way of offset lithography. I've got a few of those silk screened covers in various stages of completion.

Here's the gospel according to an ebay seller:

And Albedo #1 seems to be doing well with either cover:
