I wonder what the reserve is...

Mike actually emailed me this Sunday and offered me the opportunity to make an offer (I PM him to ask if he was willing to sell Albedo #2 to me a while ago. Mike had posted here a while ago to find out what kind of price he could get for them).

I told him I had just won it (thanks to RYAAA! Marketplace and Todd. BTW, they arrived today! I can't believe I have my own copy. I feel lucky.).

I also gave him the link to the auction I won and said his book might be in better shape than the one I won.

I have no idea what the reserve is, but I did tell him that I thought he probably could get more than what I paid for mine: $200 + $12 s/h/insurance (given what they have been going for).

Good luck, Albedo #2 hunters.

Peace,

maka

At least the seller is honest about he quality of the book. Some spine damage is expected. For me paper quality is most important, watermarks, yellowing, rips and tears just turn me off.

My UY Albedo

Well after seeing that 9.0 rated UY issue that sold for $1200 (I believe) I thought my copy was a poor cousin or something.

It was my bad for not writting back to Maka sooner. I had a lot going on at that time and so selling my comic collection got shelved. It's a poor excuse for not returning an email after I posted the question in the first place though.

Once this eBay thing is done I was going to turn my attention to the 1-35 issue of UY and the Critters issues that I have to sell. I'll probably chunk them out into lots of 1-12, 11-23, 24-35 ... or something like that.

Oh, as for what the reserve price <<give you some insider information>> I set it for $180, I figured if whomever buys want to go get it slabbed or rated it would cost them what $20-30 to do?
