$1,246.00 to be exact (I archive the actual prices of Albedo NR 2's sold on eBay here).

What's really funny is the Albedo NR 3 with a BIN at $99.95...greedy people trying to cash in on the Albedo NR 2 sales. I wonder if they know there are at least 10,000 copies out there. Perhaps they're counting others do not!

Who pays that kind of money for a comic book? I mean, are all the people who buy these collectors who just hope to turn a profit someday? Are there really Usagi fans out there willing to shell out that kind of money for Albedo 2? I mean, sure, if I was a millionaire, I would be happy to pay it. But good lord, that is a big chunk of change.

Yes, but on the flip side it's great advertising for Usagi. People see his first appearance going for outrageous prices and want to know what all the fuss is about. They start reading the comic and find out...
