I hate it when the seller starts the auction at an already outrageous price. Where's the auction spirit in that? He's just listing it is all, and trying to get near what only a few copies have ever gone for... And not that I'm into or support CGC in any way, but a 9.6 should be a fairly perfect copy right? I mean you'd be hard pressed to find anything higher from a book printed in 1984. Why then is there some fairly obvious spine wear on it?

Well, I've noticed an increasing amount of fraud with the grading. Whoever the APA is, they need to get out and look at the tables. Most of the fakes were good, but not so good you couldn't spot them if you didn't know what to look for. Its amazing what people can do at home with a printer these days.
