eBay Auction for TMNT #1 1st Print CGC 8.5
The TMNT get their fair share of bidders for their 1st appearance too (actually their 2nd, but not too many know about Gobbledygook). How much do these fetch? Have they broken the $2000 mark like Albedo NR 2 has?

He certainly hypes it up
I've seen plenty first prints go over $1,000, and the one I own just crept over that mark years back. Thing is, I'd say mine was in better condition than his, so god knows what mine would be worth today. Never gonna have it graded or sold though!
I think I've seen a couple head towards the $2,000 mark, one might have breeched it, trying to remember...

I thought it was generally accepted that TMNT #1 and Gobbledygook were concurrent first appearances. Not that it really matters anyway, since a first print Gobbledygook is virtually impossible to find anywhere. Though I've never seen one, I know the current owner of one copy in existence.
