These are fanzines I contributed to when I was in high school or early college. Fanzines were like independent comics, except they were not distributed to comic book stores. In fact, back then there were no comic book stores to distribute them to. Fanzines were usually 8.5x11 inches, black and white, with a print run of a few hundreds. They were generally sold through mail order. Writers and artists were paid with a couple of contributors' copies.

Chronicle was one of the better ones. I think I did a short strip in this one titled The Man, about a guy in an apocalyptic future. It was much like Mad Max, except it was years before Mad Max.

Fantasticomix probably just has a pin-up.

These were done many, many years before I even thought of Usagi. Probably when I was in my superhero or fantasy stage.
