Queen and Country

Post by Thomas Froehling »

Hello,
I've just found this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.de/QUEEN-COUNTRY-TPBK-O ... dZViewItem

It says in the describtion that Stan Sakai contributed a short story to that comic; does anybody know what kind of story that is? Is it an Usagi story?? Has it been published anywhere already???

And, of cource, is that comic (Queen and Country, I mean) any good?

Oh, so many questions... :wink:

Thank you in advance for your concern and time.
Greetings from overseas

Hello Thomas,

Colin wrote back in 2005 (used the search function at the top Right / next to FAQ):

"I recently got into greg Rucka's Queen & Country and was surprised when I got to the end of the first trade and saw Stan's story. Russian terrorists are definitely a change of pace from Usagi."

Doesn't sound like it's an Usagi comic.

Peace, maka

It is not an Usagi story. It has real people in it.

Queen and Country is a spy series set in the real world--no 007 fancy gadgets or mad scientists with world conquest in mind.

Thank you for the fast reply; I'll keep my eyes open for it now;

@Maka: thank you for pointing out the "Search" option; I was not aware it could be used for questions like that. Very handy.... :)

I actually picked up a copy of this a couple of months ago... certainly interesting and cool to see you do something "real world" like Stan :)
