What makes them Usagi Jeans? They look like a dirty pair of jeans that someone drew on with a Sharpie. I've drawn of quite a few articles of clothing, mostly T-shirts but also jackets (leather jackets are very nice drawing surfaces), but I don't recall drawing on pants.

Did Usagi ever wear jeans? Maybe those are his.
Although, I don't think Usagi would wear those even if he did wear jeans.

Dear Readers,
This brand has come up on ebay before.
I emailed the seller who claims:
Dear gosm,
the name on the inside tag reads "USAGI YOJIMBO"

Best wishes to all!

Copyright infringement! Wait, if someone decided to come out with a line of designer jeans called Usagi Yojimbo's, would that constitute infringement, since they are jeans and not comics? If the manufacturer's label says "Usagi Yojimbo"........anyway I asked the seller to provide a close up photo of the UY label. Let's see what happens....

It just goes to show that you can find anything on Ebay.
The entire world has become one big garage sale.

Now if they were "Groo Jeans" they would definitely be fakes, because everyone know that Groo doesn't wear pants.

Sergio once drew me a picture of what's under Groo's tunic, and it ain't pretty.

I wonder why it says "Sick jeans" in the item description; I mean, I'm not really a fan of these kinds of trousers, but I won't go so far as to be sick over it...

LOL. I bet. I don't even want to imagine. However, I'm sure it will cross my mind when I read the next issue of the Groo mini.

I still have one of the many copies of Groo 41 that I had bought as a reward for my second graders-- only to find out that NOT only was Granny Groo smacking the bare bottom of a YOUNG Groo, but the moral of the story had Groo as an adult getting yet another bottom tanning by his Granny! I panicked, and used whiteout to draw underpants-- and my kids were like (HONESTLY) "I didn't think Groo wore pants".
Yes-- I shamefully edited comics. I was younger then, and panicked. And that particular class LOVED Groo and loved getting comics for presents/rewards.
Oh, and the one I still own is sans-editing by me. And NO one is shocked.
