Tinlantern's copy of the Travels with Jotaro hardcover just sold on eBay for $305 plus shipping. I thought only the Grasscutter HC went for this kind of price.

I know you wanted to keep the book, Tinlantern, so it's great you were able to sell it for a very nice price.

Wow... just wow. Maybe the 1PC had an influence? Considering I got mine for the standard price...

Yeah, wow is right! I just saw the auction a few minutes ago. The last time I checked it was at $71 which is about what I expected.
Hopefully this will make someone very happy.
And thanks again for expressing your concerns. Like I said, we are really fine, but this definitely helps. Although a very hard thing to let go of.

It probably did help that it was #1PC.
When I receive the signature plates to sign, I just sign them with a little head sketch. After the books are bound and delivered to DH, someone there writes in the numbers for the regular edition, PCs, and APs. They are all pretty much alike, except for the Artist Proofs which contain an additional original drawing.

Yes, I agree. #1 is the magic number.
For me, the reason I picked that book as opposed to the others located in the shop was for the story of Jotaro and Usagi. I love the father/son connection that is left unstated, but Usagi's love for Jotaro is so subtle in the way he they interact. I might have even picked it over Grasscutter. It is still regrettable I had to let it go. So it goes.
However, the Dragonbellow story still exists as my favorite because of Zato-Ino. I know that there was a "Last Ino" story but I think perhaps it would be fun to see Jotaro interact with the son/daughter of Ino in some way. Though Jotaro is some years older.
