Where can I purchase Color Special #1?

Can anyone point me to an online comic book seller that has reasonably-priced copies of the first Fantagraphics color special? (Preferably somewhere that's not Ebay. I quit using Ebay a couple of years ago after getting burned on one purchase too many.) The second and third ones are fairly easy to find copies of, but, for some reason, the first one is harder to find.

It is tough to find outside of Ebay. My suggestion is to buy a tpb which includes it.
Volume 22 - Collects Usagi Yojimbo Color Special #1-3 (originally published by Fantagraphics) and Usagi Yojimbo #90-93.

The point of Jet Jaguar is: TPB 22 will show the re-done art, while the Fantagraphics Color Specials feature the "original" art.

I predict prices for the Color Specials to go up with the release of TPB 22, since a lot of fans will want to compare Sensei's development of his craft.

I've always wondered why in the "Comics and Storylines" section of the Dojo, under "Comics" it has four colour specials listed.
Is there one that I am not familiar with, perhaps made by Dark Horse?

Yes, there was a Color Special #4 that was published by Dark Horse. It was a 24 page story that was first serialized in the Diamond Previews catalogue over a 12 month time, two pages a month. It was then published as a stand-alone color special, titled Green Persimmon.
It is published as a black and white story in UY Book 11: Seasons.

I'll see if I can track that puppy down.
Thanks a bunch.

Yeah, Thomas, Jet-Jaguar may be looking for it for those reasons. I like to fill in any spots on my comic list with 'a' comic not a tpb. But, if you are just wanting it, then I gave an alternative to not having anything at all.

I forgot to mention that I found a copy of Color Special #1 at Mile High Comics for a pretty reasonable price. I should be getting it in the mail any day now. It appears to be the only one they had:

I know that Vol. 22 is going to include B&W versions of the color specials; I have a signed hardcover copy preordered from TFAW.

Speaking of Dark Horse, were the UY strips from Dark Horse Extras reprinted anywhere?
The large tabloid-sized color strips from years ago?
Those DH Extras are tough to find these days too.

Demon Mask?

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but, the following is listed on Wikipedia under the 'Collections' header:
Vol. 14. Demon Mask
(Collects Dark Horse issues 31-38, and stories from Dark Horse Presents 140 & Annual 1999; Wizard 97; Oni Double Feature 10; and Dark Horse Extra 20-23)
I just bought a brand new copy of this on Ebay for less than $5! Whoohoo!

"Tsuru" is in Book 14 and "A Lesson in Courtesy" is in Book 17

Speaking of which I just found all four DHE issues with Tsuru in, a little expensive but worth it considering first time I'd seen them available for sale...
