Why is Grasscutter II so expensive?

The lowest price that I can find anywhere for the Grasscutter II TPB is about $60, which seems a little ridiculous. Why is it so high? I actually have all the Grasscutter II issues, but I want to complete my collection of all of the TPBs (Grasscutter II is the only one I lack). Does anyone know if Dark Horse is reissuing it anytime soon.

Just be glad it's not Grasscutter 1 you're looking for (in h/c)...!

The price is probably due to the lack of printing and that it's the sequel to (probably) Sensei's most acclaimed story.

Hello Jet_Jaguar,
I think a little patience will do the trick for you; all TPBs are regularly in and out of print; I don't know Dark Horse's schedule for a reprint of that special TPB, but, as I said, it certainly will be reprinted.

If you've got a good and trusted comic shop nearby, you could ask them to put it on a pull-list, maybe they'll even inform you when the book is in (that's what my comic store does).

Meanwhile, I'd advice you to save your hard-earned money for other things, like Book 22: Tomoe's Story...

Seriously, sometimes prices for TPB seem to go up due to being out of print, and some comic sharks try to take advantage of those who don't know it will be reprinted anytime soon.
So, knowledge is power... show them by not falling for their trap  .

Hopefully everyone is aware of the Buy UY section on this site. I looked at Heritage Source, and see the GC2 TPB for $16. Contact Carolyn at HS and tell her the UYD sent you...
