Beautiful piece on ebay; alas, quite expensive!

Well, the title says it already: this piece sure does look good, but it's out of reach for my temporarily thin budget...

I didn't think this one would escape notice... I may bid. On the other hand I need to save for San Diego...! The same seller also has a Kevin Eastman TMNT pic as well...

Shall we start a fund for you once the wife kicks you out for too much Usagi swag? :D

We should start a new thread: "Does your wife or husband impose you a restriction on the place that can take Usagi in your house"

Ha, sorry about that. I thought I had seen you mention something about spending too much and getting thrown out. Must have been someone else...

It would be me if I spent as much money as an Albedo would cost...

Morgane told me not to put too much in this bid, and i didn't want to put too much inside, i prefer to give that money to Stan, and since my concurrent was (one more time Mayhem) i would not have won but just make Mayhem buy a bit more the piece (like for the last piece)

I really thought i would win without Mayhem this time...

Congrats dude !

Next time i'll send you an email just to know if you are bidding not to rise the bids for nothing.

ya, without mayhem I also might have won - who knows
I surely envy you this peace - but anyway: congrats from me too!!
...and I want a scan here as soon as the picture arrives :D :D

I'm having it sent to Kris, to reduce shipping costs and not incur any import duty. I'll pick it up when I'm over there next month... so I will actually have it with me when I come to Comicon if anyone is interested in seeing it.

I missed out on the TMNT picture sadly... in a way I would have preferred winning that to this one if I had to choose between... still, another old coloured piece to the collection :)

And yes, I'll properly take a pic of it when I get home with it ;)

Out of interest now bidders IDs are clouded, who came runner up?

Like last time, i was second to you, i am the p***, i am happy not to have put a higher bid since it would just have made you buy it at a higher price.

the TMNT sketch was great too.

for sure it will be a beautiful piece to show to other fans, i like the spider it makes me think of the one that takes life from the painting (cover of Usagi Color special 2).

Noted... hopefully I'll recognise it is you on anything else that crops up!

Actually you did almost win... I only put a bid of $650 for it...

Does ebay assign the same ID code name to bidders on differant auctions or are they randomly produced for each auction?

I think they produce a random ID for each auction; otherwise people would recognize a pattern and their system would fail...

@Mayhem: Congratulations on your purchase; do you think your European Stan Sakai Art Museum will be ready for UY 25th anniversary next year? If so, I think I'd start planning a trip to England soon....

..to check out your security system, possible entrance and escape routes, etc...
