No fair! I've been stuck at work for the past thirteen and a half hours and just now managed to get on the internet, just to find out that someone else has nabbed a nice inexpensive copy of Grasscutter before me....
I am surprised that he is selling Grasscutter for less than Space Usagi, the only other one on the list which I don't have.
Since I have been having internet access problems at home, I will get back with you Wednesday evening (after working an early shift), I am probably interested in the copy of Space Usagi.

If you can wait until Motor City in May, I can bring you a copy of Space Usagi for much less than this seller is asking for. I can't help you with Grasscutter, though.Steve Hubbell wrote:

Space Usagi HC
I am also interested very much in the Space Usagi Hardcover, and Travels with Jotaro, but they are a bit pricey.
With those two I would complete my UY HC collection volumes 1 thru 23
Is there any way to negotiate a lower price?

Re: Space Usagi HC
Are you going to be at Motor City or any of my upcoming conventions? As you may know, I do not work through the mails.Groosagi wrote:I am also interested very much in the Space Usagi Hardcover, and Travels with Jotaro, but they are a bit pricey.

At current conversion rates, this seller is asking for about $166 US each for the two books you are looking for. And that is for prime customers. You or I, who have to go through a credit card company or money exchangers would pay much more. I can come up with a much better price, but only if you or your agent is at one of my signings.

Re: Space Usagi HC
Hello Groosagi,
I'm only the in-between (at no extra cost); there just might be room for negotiation, the seller offered about 15% off for two books I've bought for another Dojo member, but I can't promise anything.
So, I highly recommend taking Sensei up on his offer and looking for a way to get an agent to pick up the books directly from him [they may be sketched, by the way; it's always a nice surprise

A great big thank you to Thomas for helping fill out my hardcover collection. The first one arrived and it was like a brand new totally mint book. I'm so pleased to have added Brink of Life and Death to my collection. Now I'm just waiting on the deal for Grasscutter and Shades of Death.
After those, I will only need three more editions for a complete set of DH releases!
I hope to be able to obtain those last three from Sensei sometime in the near future.
Thanks again Thomas!!!
