I know thay are hard to find but I thought I would give it a shot.......
I am looking to fill out my Usagi Yojimbo Hardcover editions and need:
#7
#8 Shades of Death
#9 Daisho
#11 Seasons
#12 Grasscutter
#13 Grey Shadows
#14 Deamon Mask
#15 Grasscutter 2

I know that is a lot of them but you have to start somewhere. If anyone knows where there are some on my list for sale I would greatly appreciate the lead.
Thanks,

If "Nick and Dent" books don't bother you www.TFAW.com has a copy of Tomoe's Story HC for $18.
Usagi graphic novels
Personally, I don't like nick and dent because you never know just how damaged they are. (no returns)
Right now TFAW is selling a lot of their Dark Horse related books for 70% off.
Usagi, Goon, Hellboy, BPRD, Lone Wolf and Cub, Star Wars, 365 Samurai....Most of these are NOT nick and dent.
If you spend $40 or more use the codeword ZOMBIES for free uninsured shipping in the U.S.
I know you were only asking about hardcovers, but I got carried away.

Stan,
I got "The Dragon Bellow Conspiracy" hardcover way back when it first came out. That was back when I was in college. Since then I collected other editions filling out the first six. Then I just collected the single issues and kept up with Usagi that way. Also, I havn't always been able to afford to keep up with the more expensive editions.
When I picked up the "Bridge of Tears" in New Mexico it reignighted my interest in the hardcover editions. They are such special books. With the etchings on the front cover of the books and the additional art in the books I just thought it would be really nice to see if I could fill out the whole collection.
Since NM I have been able to buy Hardcover editions #10, #22, #23 & #24. If you have other editions you could help me out with it would be much appreciated. I plan on continuing my quest to collect all hardcover editions.
I wish I would have communicated with you better on what I needed and was looking for on my visit to NM. As a collector I do not travel to conventions or signings and was not sure of how things work. i.e. what is appropriate, what's asking too much, ect. (I was suprised to see people with bags full of books for you to sign.) That is why I only brought one book. I figured asking you to do a drawing in one book was enough of a request. I did not want to impose.
Anyway, let me know if you can help me out with any other hardcover editions that I listed in the beginning of this thread. Any help from you Stan would mean a great deal.
Thank You,
Joe

This seller has 17,18,20, 21 & Space Usagi in HC S/N. The auctions have a reserve.

'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus –who died on the cross for all our sins), that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but, have eternal life.' -John 3:16 (New Testament - Bible)
I wanted to bid on a one, only the 'reserve wasn't met' every time I put in a value, and I went up to $85.tru2gzus wrote:This seller has 17,18,20, 21 & Space Usagi in HC S/N. The auctions have a reserve.

Sorry, estee, I may be a little slow of mind:
There is no bid on any of the books right now higher than 40 US $; and does "reserve" mean he's not going to sell it?
As far as I understood, he's not compeled to sell the item if his reserve is not met, but he may decide to do so for the best offer he gets....
I can understand that you don't want to spend that kind of money for relatively recent HCs and hope for a better chance. But I have to confess that I paid a little less than 100 € per HC on average; but that's just me, an enthusiastic collector, who started buying HCs as recently as 2006.

I'm in for between $1200 - $1300 currently, and still only need three to complete my "Dark Horse only" collection of hardcovers. I wonder how much that figure would go up if I included the first seven editions as well.
The seller mentioned here was my source for five of my editions and they were all very well maintained copies. I have been in touch with him about the three I still need, but I just don't have the extra money right now to be filling out my collection, so they will likely have to wait. Unless he wants to bargain for them after the conclusion of the auctions. He was very agreeable last time and sold me two (I think) outside of ebay. Great guy.
Anyway, I'm still trying, but if Stan has the three I need, I am content to wait until I am able to meet him at SDCC next year.
