Usagi comics for sale or trade

Post by Leonardo »

Hello,
Thanks for stopping by. Here is where I'll be selling all my Usagi related comics and possibly toys. I'm a top rated seller on eBay and an honest person, and hopefully I'll be dealing with some cool people here.

Ok enough with that, here's what I have for sale or trade (I charge actual shipping, for comics in the US it'll be around $3):

Critters #1 VF/NM $2
Critters #38 VF/NM $2
Critters #50 VF/NM $2 (sweet Catnippon back cover pinup)
(All have Usagi stories, 2 have Usagi on cover
TMNT 1989 Usagi figure loose incomplete $2
TMNT 2003 Usagi MOC $15
TMNT 2003 Usagi loose complete $6

That's it for now. I'm going through my comics and I know I have an almost complete Fantagraphics Usagi run in doubles but those won't be up for a few months.

Here's what I'm looking for, buy or trade:
Space Volume 1 1,3
Space Volume 2 1,3
Darkhorse 37,60
Mirage 6-8,10,11,15
Albedo 2-4 (not looking to spend right now)
Green Persimmon
Oni Double Feature 10
Dark Horse Extra 20-23
Color Special 1-3
Anything Goes 5,6
Grimjack "Gwim Bear"
Doomsday Squad 3
Critters 5,13,15,16,17,27,39, Special

I think that's all I need for a complete collection, any help is appreciated of course.

Thanks!

I have never heard of a Usagi appearence in Cerebus before, but I have never been a Cerebus reader either, so I could not say for sure one way or the other.

You just missed a great Usagi Color Special package someone was selling on ebay. It had all four color specials for a really great price compared to what is currently listed. I knew I should have jumped on it.

What is the appeal of Anything Goes #5? Usagi is on the cover of #6 but I have heard nothing concerning an appearance in #5.

PM me your address and I can send you the Wizard magazine appearances.

Sorry I just threw that anything goes in there because I think there's a TMNT or Groo or some other appearance I was interested in.

An Usagi appearance in Cerebus, if I remember correctly, was discussed in an old back issue by an editor. Possibly in Critters. Perhaps it was just a cameo, maybe I'm imagining it, or maybe it never came to fruition.

I don't think I ever did anything with or for Dave Sim and Cerebus. As far as Grim Jack--Usagi makes a cameo on the first page of my Gwim Bear story that was written by John Ostrander.

Well that clears things up, thanks. Gwim Bear? I'm intrigued, would you or anyone happen to know the issue number? I'll have to track it down. Thanks Mr. Sakai!

It takes place on a funny animal world that was introduced in the Grim Jack comics. The critters model themselves on the Grim Jack world, so, of course, there is a GJ-like character named Gwim Bear. I don't recall off hand what the story was about.
