Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to shoot for the Book 1. It's the only one I need.

Hasn't finished yet... but it's a bidding war between two people so... guess both of them need it.

Well, I was one of the two. But I just can't justify spending that much. Hopefully another will pop up soon.

I emailed the vendor selling this book on Amazon and he mentioned that it was hardcover but NOT signed and numbered. Are there some non-S&N versions of Volume 1 floating around there?

Thanks!

A nice condition used hardback book that shows very little wear. The dust jacket is in nice condition with very little wear as well.
Since it has a dust jacket, it is not one of the library bound hardcovers. I did not think there were copies distributed that were not signed and numbered. Maybe the tip-in plate with the number and signature / sketch came unattached or was kept by the original owner. Or maybe the seller did not see it since it is attached to the inside front cover, somewhat obscured by the flap of the dust jacket (at least in my copy). Kind of a high sale price for an unsigned and numbered copy.

I'm sure Stan said to me when I bought one of the early h/c volumes from him (might have been #1) that the one I got was the last numbered and signed copy he had, and that he had others without. Maybe some escaped having a tip-in plate.

 Bid more than a little more than I had planned, but I'm glad it is from someone on here, so I can trust that the book is as described.

Who is the seller? Someone in England apparently.

I posted a link to the auctions when I first saw them listed, but I have no connection to the seller.

Oh, nevermind then. I had the impression it was you, but read too much into your post

The same seller had book 5 & 6 for sale, too; plus a few critters with Usagi appearances...

more HCs

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to link the auction's url, so we can't see what they went for
