Seems I missed buying a Sketchbook # 1 from Stan by 'that' much (by a day or two). Does anyone have an extra Sketchbook #1 for sale? :?

You could try Rabbit Valley Comic Shop. He said he has 1 left.

FYI: I've never purchased from them before.

The price was $10.

They must have had 4 in stock, as the person I spoke to said he already sold 3 that morning and was wondering why the all-of-a-sudden interest. When I placed my order it was the last one, and later that day the sketchbook was no longer listed on the company website.

$10 is a great price. I bought mine locally for $30 and that was after waiting far too long for any to pop up on eBay.

Yeah, I feel fortunate to have been able to get one at the price I did pay. I guess it was a bit of serendipity for me - right time, right place, right price.

The guy at Rabbit Valley was cool about it & said they never mark-up the prices, no matter how famous or popular an artist is.

It is not often that you can find people NOT out to make a bigger profit off everything now-a-days.

Well, my copy of Sketchbook #1 arrived yesterday, and I must say I am quite happy. With it was a signed Daisho card. Now I have a complete collection of the sketchbooks!

I found it interesting that this first book is numbered and seems to be signed in pencil rather than ink as the later books.
