I'll give you one guess, and it isn't yes.

I dunno about this ebay post, but I recently found you can get your Usagi fix for current issues on darkhorse online - it's like an e-reader program, usable on the pc or as an app on your ipad.

I dunno if it's legit (does he have the right to even sell those?)... Hmm. Well, at least the seller has 100% feedback

No, it was not authorized. Just another example of piracy where the seller hoped to make a decent amount of money before he was "discovered" and forced to stop.

I have to admit it is a cool sounding offer, a complete digital library of all the Usagi Yojimbo stories. But instead of buying a copy, I emailed a copy of the link to Dark Horse yesterday (as others may also have done), and it appears they did not waste any time contacting ebay and having the temptation removed.

EDIT: I wonder if Dark Horse might have requested ebay to seize the funds in the seller's paypal account from any of their sales of these DVDs?

But he listed more than a single copy available. The last time I check the auction, there were "more than 10" available..... Makes me wonder how many were sold before it was pulled.

And if it is like the Digital Groo collection that has previously appeared on ebay, it will be listed for sale (under differant seller IDs all located in the UK) several more times.

He might have had more than one available, but yes, it was only listed for a pound. Between costs for the media itself, eBay insertion (probably none though), final value fees, Paypal's cut, and shipping, I can't see how he could make anything at all. Which questions why do it. Unless it was one of those auctions to draw people in, and hope they would look at his other items on sale and buy those too, where the margins were much higher. Bit like a loss leader in a supermarket.

As for the auction itself, I reported it as well. Anyone can do that via the button on each listing page.
