I only have a couple of these myself. They were originally giveaways, and printed the entire issue in black and white (the comic was in color).

Got it! I've been actively looking for this yellow ash can comic for about 5 years. In that time, about two dozen copies of Albedo #2 and been sold on Ebay, but this is only the second copy of the yellow Space Usagi comic sold online. Makes me think $145. was a bargain . . .

Congradulations on a great addition to your collection.
Maybe one of these days I will find a copy for my collection as well, but actually placing a bid instead of just watching the auction would go a long ways toward helping me finally get one.

Always the possibility that this auction will bring more out of the woodwork - the final price may encourage some folks to let go of extra / unwanted copies!

No, I believe Stan is wisely hanging on to the few copies that he still owns. Its just not widely available. This sort of promotional item does not excite some folks the way Albedo #2 does, it is not in the same league as a "first appearance" comic book. But for the collector, it is a major coup. Good luck to all those still seeking, if I ever get an extra copy, I know who to contact first!Sounds like a reasonable way to get one for a decent price.....

I just paid almost the exact same amount last week for the Czech editions of Usagi Yojimbo Books 11 - 17 published by Crew, if I count the wire transfer fees and international shipping.....
