The final bid was $838.28.

Out of curiosity, how to do transport art while traveling by plane? Do you carry it on board and hold it the entire flight or do you put it with your checked luggage and hope nobody steals/ruins it?

I've only driven to conventions so I just put it in the back seat of my car in an art portfolio.

I've got a stack of those thick A3 mylar art sleeves (you can buy from Bud Plant etc) with boards inside for using to store and carry about art, prints and autographed photos during the con. Only ones that don't fit are David's square pages (too wide), so I also bring the packaging from one shipment he sent me in the past to shove anything Mouse Guard related inside. I think I might need to buy a couple of new A3 and A2 as well at the con this year, I only have one A2 size and it's running double duty on super size art currently. After that, they get stored in my check-in luggage, and everything survives perfectly fine as long as I pack everything flat enough.
